Vintage Giveaway!!

Yay!! It's giveway time! Sorry it took me so long to have another giveway...I had so much fun with my first, and it's way past time for another one!

Okay, let's see...I always like the idea of checking out either of my shops http://www.jenscloset.etsy.com/ and/or http://www.mymilkglassshop.etsy.com/ and letting me know what your fav item is, better yet...something that you think would make a great Mothers Day gift! Just leave me a comment on my blog with info on how to contact you if you win!

Okay..now...an ending date...hold on, let me get the calendar. Okay..I'm back! Since this is kind of a Mothers Day themed giveway...I'm picking the day before Mothers Day for the last day to get your name in my contest! Saturday, May 9th, by 1:00 pm. Shortly after that, I will randomly pick a number (at a neat site that actually randomly picks for me, so it's fair!).

Oh...and my giveway is this cute set of vintage aluminum coasters with the fruit pattern embossed on them! It's a set of 7 and they're adorable!

So tell your neighbors and friends to join in on the fun!

And thanks so much for stopping by!

Jen

Jen, you know I love your shops. My pick is this groovy vase filled with spring flowers (tulips, especially!) for Mother's Day.

My mom-in-law collects blue and white stuff for her kitchen, so the W.H. Grindley Old Chelsea Blue and White Vintage Cream and Sugar Set would be a perfect gift for her for Mother's Day!

The coasters are amazing!

Hey Jen! How do you expect someone to pick a single favorite out of all your pretty things? OK, made a choice http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=16405679

Well, I'll go with the set of 3 milk glass vases. My mom doesn't particularly care for milk glass, but I do....and I'm a mom!!! One can never have enough milk glass vases.

Jen...great blog & great shops. I think the hankies would make a great Mother's Day gift. You could fill them with herbes and use them in your drawers to keep clothes fresh...

Good morning, Jen!
I look forward to seeing what fun things you post each day and usually there is something that takes me back to my childhood. Both my Mom and Mother-in-law are gone now, but Paul and I have continued to collect the sort of dishes we remember from our youth. Matthew, our son, seems to enjoy being surrounded by the comfort of them and I know we do. Honestly the aluminum coasters would be a great gift, but I saw a set of glasses in your shop: Frosty Leafy Platinum Tall Vintage Tumblers, that I remember my parents having. I was very lucky to grow up with my Mom...they were married when she was 16 and Dad 18 and then to have a very kind and loving mother-in-law. My memories are very dear and I guess what I am trying to say is enjoy the time you have because you never know when memories will have to do. Hugs to you, Syl

Although your pink and aqua Pyrex divided bowls are so sweetly irresistible, I am mesmerized by your lime and frosty pitcher and glasses. I feel cool just looking at them and using them for icy beverages would be a Summer Sensation!!!

And BTW, I almost dropped when I saw those coasters. I have the matching tray!!!! eeeeeeeeeee.....
