Organizing!

For the past few days I have been organizing everything for my shop! Everytime I had an order I was panicking, because I did not have anything organized. I would add items to my shop, then just put them in boxes, not labeled..but I've changed all that! I have labeled boxes and it's much easier now!

Yesterday I re-took (maybe that's not a real word, but you know what I mean) a bunch of my original pictures in my shop. I've learned enough about photography since I first opened my shop, to know that most of my items that I had added when my shop was brand new, were not effective!

That's the great thing about Etsy, you can usually find help from someone with any questions you have, such as photography! I'm not an expert, but I'm learning..and it's been fun!

Here's a cute Happy Birthday teacup and saucer I found..I have not added to my shop yet, if you're interested in it, send me a note! Yes..I still have trouble with glare on my pictures..oh and clear glass is the hardest for me!

Let us not forget the ones that are sacrificing for us

It's Memorial Day...imagine all the service people working far away from their families, and those families that are without their Mom, Dad, sister, brother, son or daughter.

Thank you to all of you.

Thank you Lynda O!

I had a nice time with my good friend Lynda today! We went to Bob Evans for brunch and to chat about everything..we had a lot to catch up on!

Lynda and I worked together and were recently laid off...we both worked part time as administrative assistants, and what one of us forgot, the other remembered, so we always said we each were one half a brain and together...we made up one brain!

Hopefully we will do that again soon, right Lynda!!? You owe me a lunch!

Now on to business...I've been shopping again, and I just added THE CUTEST Owl glasses-check them out!

Thanks to the folks that have left comments, and even took my milk glass survey (it's at the bottom of my blog)!

Hope everyone has a great Friday!

Welcome!

Another good day! I found some more Pyrex, two patterns that I had not seen before. That really should not be too much of a surprise...have you seen how many Pyrex patterns there are!? Were people really buying all those back in the day!?

I found two Shenandoah casserole dishes and two Blue Horizon Mixing bowls. I would love to keep all of this, if I had an organized mansion, but...since I don't have a mansion, and my house certainly is not organized...I will sell these!

Check them out at jenscloset.etsy..you may find some other things that you really have to have!

Thanks for visiting, and please leave a comment!

Happy Wednesday Everyone!

I had a fun day at Jamies fleamarket, or should I say, a fun morning. It doesn't take long to find things I love and then, before I know it, my money is gone! You sure meet some interesting people at flea markets! I bought a lot of neat items from a guy named Bill, and even met his Dad, Vinny! Bill was quite the character!

I was also busy packaging up some cute items that I sold today. A very cute lacy milk glass candy dish for a repeat customer, and the prettiest teacup and saucer to another customer. I seem to sell a lot of my things to people in California..they sure have good taste!

Well, I need to add some cute things to my shop, since I haven't had a chance to do that.

Thanks for visiting and leave a comment...please!!!

Thank you Lindsey!

My sweet daughter, Lindsey, surprised me with this beautiful set of green depression glass! One of my favorite things is green and pink depression glass! This was an early birthday present from her, since she was visiting here this weekend, and we were having fun shopping around at various antique shops in the area.

Thank you Lindsey!!!

Love, Mom
