My First Car Show!

Love this yellow car!
I just went to my first car show!  I don't know much about old cars.  What I do know is I love certain colors and styles.

Cool blue car!

I did see some cute Studebakers and Thunderbirds, oh, and a cute old corvette!

This was my favorite!

I loved the shade of blue on this old car!  That's the owner of the car in the picture.  He said he wouldn't have bought this car if it was black, because it would look like a hearse!  I think he said this was  1941 car.

Vroom Vroom!!

I need this car!
They just don't make them like they used to!

I'm so glad I finally went to a car show!  This was a pretty small one, so hopefully I'll find a larger one to check out soon, and maybe I'll actually remember the names of the cars!

I want to find one with old trucks.  My friend Laura has the cutest one for her twitter avatar!

Happy weekend!

Great post! I LUV those cars also. Taking in all the wonderful colors and detail are both necessary to remeember what we are capable of making!

These cars rock! I also love the green Thunderbird. It doesn’t look anything like the cars today, and color just emphasizes that fact even more. Another thing, it's convertible so you can enjoy the wind while cruising in this car. BTW, this is a 1956 Ford Thunderbird. It has side vents along with glass wind deflectors, which were put there to improve passenger ventilation and for driver's comfort.

It’s good that you enjoyed attending the car show even if it’s a small one. But hey, small car shows do have their own treasures to boast of. Anyway, I think this is a good start for you. Hope you do get to attend a major car show next time! I bet there’ll be lots of high-tech concept cars there!

Before, I didn’t know why it’s such a big deal for my brother to be able to attend a car show. But after I got to attend one, I was amazed with all the stunning cars displayed, and at that moment, I understood him. You’ll appreciate each and every car you’ll see; the best looking cars, the customized ones, and the ones that have been restored by their owners. It’s not just about showcasing what they have, but the event will give you inspiration to also work on your own car.

Good for you! I never knew what I’ve been missing ‘til I went to my first car show. Don’t tell me you’re also thinking of saving up now to buy and restore an old car? ;] And by the way, I love the certain car colors and styles you love - the yellow one, in particular. I know, I’m a guy, so what? XD I think we’ll be instant buddies if we get to meet.

These are pretty amazing cars! My favorite vintage car is the 1967 Ford Mustang. This car portrays pure power and indomitable force. And this is exactly the very reason why filmmakers and producers look to the Ford Mustangs when doing action movies. It is the ultimate muscle car!
