A Night at the Ritz!

Have you ever stayed at a Ritz Carlton Hotel!? Well, we've been spoiled, because we've stayed at the one in Cleveland several times and it's the best!
My husband and I went to a Todd Rundgren concert last night at the House of Blues (downtown Cleveland)...and the concert was awesome! So we decided to spend the night at the Ritz, and it was wonderful, as usual! For one night, you feel like you're a king and queen!
I took lots of pictures, just so everyone that's not from around here, can see that it's not so bad!
I'm adding a few now and will try to get more up later.
Can anyone tell me why, if I have one space between paragraphs, it leaves a huge space?

Pathetically Waiting for an Etsy Treasury

I am obsessed, and am not ashamed to admit it! I am determined to create a "popular" treasury, so I get bumped up to the top of the treasury list, with a big red dot (mean hot)...it's a silly thing, I know, but nonetheless, I will continue to try.

I took several pictures of my surroundings while waiting anxiously for the number to drop from 333 to my turn to list! Here's a picture of the computer screen..I'll add more of my surroundings later, but I thought you might all enjoy this..if you know anything about Etsy and treasuries, you should appreciate this!!

This is a group that I am a part of called Etsy BCTG...geez, I can't remember what that stands for! Oh, I think I remember, Business card trade group! It's a great idea...we send business cards to each other and add them to our shipments. I have made good use of the ones I have received..and if my group is reading this, or anyone would like to join, let me know...I would love to add your business cards to my shipments!
By the way..your eyes are not deceiving you...this is broken depression glass. It's something I ordered from Ebay a year or two ago, it came broken in pieces, but I could not bear to throw it away...well, I've been convo'ing with a fellow etsian and they're are people that need this broken glass for their art! She didn't need this pink depression glass, but she is interested in some other broken pieces that I have. I'm practically giving them away, since I really can't use them and I want them to get good homes...basically charging shipping and packaging, and a very small fee.

Fun fun fun this weekend--Big Yard Sale!

Lindsey came home this weekend so we could go to this big "yard sale" in Avon, OH. The whole town is like a giant yard sale, and it's so much fun!
We found so many great, fun things! Lindsey has three shops now at Etsy--geez! She just started the jewelry supply shop so she was in search of vintage beads and clasps.
I found so many beautiful things for my shop...I need to stop..I have quite an inventory!
Also...check out all my new blog friends at the bottom of this blog...and let me know if your blog wants to be friends with my blog!!
That's a picture of Lindsey holding a cute vintage necklace!

Happy Almost-Birthday Lindsey!!

In our family, we celebrate birthdays for at least two weeks! We usually have a family party and a friend party (when they younger), and then we go out to dinner to celebrate, and another party on the exact birthday!

Well...Lindsey will be 25 next Thursday!! Derek, Lindsey and Cosmo (my hairy grandpup) came home from Columbus this weekend so we could celebrate.

Lindsey and I have been going to this same antique show every year at this time..but this time, it was not as good. They added crafts and had less antiques. We did find some nice things, Lindsey is the sewer (not sewer like drain sewer-ok, seamstress)..and she got a huge bag of vintage sewing stuff! She'll probably add a pic of it to her blog.

We went out to dinner last night and had a great time..not my fav restaurant, Olive Garden, but it's good for a big group and we had fun!

Then Lindsey and I went shopping today-and she's so small that she can wear Abercrombie kids clothes-so I bought her lots and lots of cute things...I'm going to add one pic I took of her-although she said "I don't have makeup on"..she looks great anyways!

So they just left back to Columbus. Happy Birthday Lindsey!!

Love from Mom
